I'd not heard of Quinn, so thanks for another author tip. I have seen the effects of cordyceps on ants on some PBS episode of two but not toxoplasma. Completely whacky. I worked with a fellow in Texas who had the same response each time I occasionally raised such mysteries. "ID," he'd say. "ID." "ID." Finally, I asked what ID meant. "Inteligent Design," he said. "We're not supposed to know because it can't be known." Oh. I felt I never need ask another question. But, for some reason, probably having to do with punishment, I still do.
